As a Residence Counselor, you will provide counseling, guidance, and advocacy to clients with behavioral health needs in a residential setting. You will play a key role in supporting individuals on their path toward greater independence and improved mental well-being. The Residence Counselor plays a key role in supporting daily program operations and client well‑being. Core responsibilities include maintaining accurate progress and activity records, and planning and facilitating social, recreational, and educational activities. The role also provides on‑site support services, communicates client observations to the treatment team, and assists with transportation to community resources. In addition, the Residence Counselor participates in team meetings and contributes to ongoing treatment planning.
