About The Position

We are seeking a Hotel Reservations Agent to join our team. In this role, you will handle incoming calls, manage reservations, respond to guest inquiries, and promote the resort’s services and amenities. You will earn through a combination of regular hourly pay and commission on sales. As a key member of our reservations team, you will help maximize yield opportunities and contribute to the achievement of revenue goals set by leadership.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of administrative assistant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in Reservations, Customer Service, or Call Centers is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and experience with OPERA PMS is a plus.
  • Ability to type 50+ words per minute.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with guests in a positive manner.
  • Strong phone skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with availability to work full-time, including weekends and holidays (8 AM - 8 PM).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in Reservations, Customer Service, or Call Centers is preferred.
  • Experience with OPERA PMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Service Excellence: Adhere to Five-Star and Five-Diamond service standards to ensure a superior guest experience.
  • Reservation Management: Handle reservations, group bookings, and ensure all reservation data is accurate.
  • Guest Inquiries: Provide detailed information regarding the resort’s accommodations, services, packages, promotions, and amenities.
  • Sales Performance: Meet revenue targets by promoting special offers, upselling, and maximizing booking opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other departments, including Front Desk and Conference Services.
  • Reports: Generate and manage reports, such as cancellation, booking, and arrival reports, as requested by leadership.
  • Additional Duties: Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, including rooming list management and billing updates.
