Location Simpson Querrey Biomedical Research Center Job Description This position offers a great opportunity to participate in very exciting research on neural development and neurodegeneration, which will lead to publications in the near future. Responsibilities include assisting investigators with experiments, performing research independently and participating day-to-day laboratory management, including managing mouse colonies, ordering lab supplies, and writing animal protocols. Previous lab experience in molecular biology (DNA, RNA, PCR and Western) and R programing is required. Mouse work experience is strongly preferred. We offer great opportunities to learn new techniques in next generation sequencing, stem cell biology, and mitochondrial metabolism.
