About The Position

Ocean Spray is hiring for a(n) Research Technician! We’re a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. Three maverick farmers started it all — and we’ve been making our own way ever since. The Research Technician will be responsible for supporting the R&D activities of the Cooperative. You will assist in conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and maintaining accurate records. Your role will involve preparing and maintaining lab equipment, producing test products, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and scientific knowledge will be crucial in driving the company's innovation and product development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical and lab support to for R&D Product Development team
  • Operates, maintains and repairs lab equipment and instrumentation.
  • Collaborates with Scientists on the development of new products, formula batching under the direction of Scientists
  • Collects, organizes and analyzes pertinent data and prepares appropriate reports summarizing results
  • Stages and monitors product shelf life testing
  • Prepare tasting/testing of ingredients used in our beverages and foods, including juice concentrates, sweeteners, organic acids, etc.
  • Various technical support tasks in support of R&D
