Works under general supervision to provide routine technical assistance in performance of assignments requiring basic knowledge of fundamental techniques and practices related to particular field of science. Radiation Oncology is recruiting a research technician to support our labs at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Tx: Department of Radiation Oncology (PI Xin Cai MD, PhD) www.xincailab.com Currently studying cancer metabolism and cancer growth regulation using cancer cell lines Department of Pharmacology (PI Siqi Liu PhD) www.siqiliulab.org Currently studying wound repair, tissue regeneration, and immune defense using mouse models and cell lines The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and an interest in pursuing a MD, PhD, or MD/PhD career path. Prior lab experience and a two year minimal commitment or more is preferred. We are looking for candidates that have a passion for science/medicine and excellence. We will support the candidate's personal and professional goals and treat them with respect as a colleague.
