About The Position

Our lab research is aimed at understanding the pathogenesis of blood cancers, with a focus on myeloproliferative neoplasms. Experimental approaches involve mouse modeling, in vitro work in established cell lines, flow cytometry, mass cytometry, and ex vivo manipulation of primary patient samples. The ideal candidate will have prior mouse handling experience or a willingness to learn. This position offers the opportunity to join an innovative research team and contribute to translational research in a dynamic setting. The role assists with laboratory duties in a research setting and performs routine tests under the direction of a supervisor, manager, or higher-level technician.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the investigator or higher-level technician with research studies, experiments and assays, including collection of data, preparation of solutions and setup and maintenance of equipment.
  • Mouse colony husbandry.
  • Maintains files on research and assists with data entry.
  • Assists with general lab maintenance and cleaning.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
