The Research Staff - Plant & Wildlife Sciences - UTTR Project Manager position involves working closely with US Fish and Wildlife Service employees to conduct surveys and monitoring efforts on the Utah Test and Training Range. This role requires extensive field work from April through August, during which the Project Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians and ensuring the completion of field work. Additionally, the individual will prepare reports in accordance with US Fish and Wildlife expectations and ensure that all tasks assigned to BYU by the USFWS are completed annually. A Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in wildlife biology, range management, or ecology, is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Applicants should possess an educational background and experience in plant and animal ecology and management, wildlife management, range science, soil science, or related fields, and be familiar with working with plant and animal populations, collecting field-based data, and implementing monitoring practices. The successful candidate will be required to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
