About The Position

The Rutgers-Princeton Center for Computational Cognitive Neuroscience is seeking an experienced researcher and clinical coordinator. This position involves recruiting participants, including those with mental health conditions and healthy controls, for behavioral studies. The specialist will be responsible for administering clinical assessments, cognitive batteries, and self-report instruments to study participants and running the behavioral tasks. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with researchers at Princeton and Rutgers to identify and design new studies for the Center, writing and updating study protocols for Institutional Review Board (IRB) review, and coordinating the Center's seminar series and workshops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years postbac experience or masters degree in Psychology, Neuroscience or related field
  • Experience with recruiting and testing populations with mental health disorders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with IRB protocols
  • Experience with structured clinical interviews (SCIDs)

Responsibilities

  • Recruit participants for online and in-person studies at the CCNP (Rutgers-Princeton Center for Computational Cognitive NeuroPsychiatry)
  • Administer clinical interview, cognitive tasks, self-report instruments to study participants per the different studies run at the CCNP
  • Update IRB protocols for studies as needed
  • Assist in planning and designing new computational psychiatry studies to be run at the CCNP
