About The Position

Conducts routine experiments and research activities to support project objectives, working under close supervision. Contributes to data collection, experiments, or studies; prepares materials and maintains research tools or resources. Helps manage project documentation and processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of deliverables.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
For the Research Specialist B -Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
This position is contingent upon grant funding.

Responsibilities

Drive a research project (collect, analyze and interpret data, and present data at group meetings)
Handle controlled substances such as pharmaceutical, radiological or hazardous materials
Manage zebrafish colonies
Manage lab inventory and shared reagents
training junior/student lab members on lab procedures
maintaining inventory for lab supplies
other duties as assigned by Principal Investigator (PI)
