Georgetown University’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center in Washington, DC is hiring a full-time Research Specialist to begin in Spring, 2026. The Research Specialist will engage in the day-to-day operations of the Health Behavior and Cancer Prevention research lab at Georgetown University’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Research Specialist will play a key role in supporting ongoing and new behavioral and clinical research projects focused on health behavior and public health, as well as support the coordination of outreach and education efforts about cancer prevention in the community. The position involves implementing study protocols, managing data collection and analysis, coordinating study participants, and ensuring regulatory compliance, as well as supporting the activities of the Program Manager and Principal Investigator. The successful candidate will contribute to both the scientific and operational aspects of research and evaluation projects aimed at understanding and improving health outcomes across diverse populations. The research lab focuses on healthy children and families, adults at-risk for, diagnosed with, and surviving cancer, and developing and testing behavioral health and other interventions to prevent cancer and improve cancer-related quality of life.
