We are looking for a highly motivated, dedicated individual interested in tumor biology and endocrine cancer research. The project involves adrenal cancer which is a deadly disease with limited treatment options. In addition, another project focuses on pituitary tumorigenesis. We have developed the first new cell and animal models to use to find new therapies for our patients. The Research Services Laboratory Sciences Senior Professional will be working closely with the members of the Wierman and Kiseljak-Vassiliades lab in molecular and cell biology techniques at the bench, and work with mice implanted with tumor cells derived from patient’s tumors and mice tumors. The individual should have experience in the field of molecular biology and interest in tumor biology. They will be an integral member of the team working to develop new markers for tumor aggressiveness and new treatments for patients with adrenal cancer and other endocrine tumors.
