We are seeking a qualified Bioinformatician to provide centralized computational support to a diverse group of researchers across our department. This individual will assist in software development and data analysis in highly collaborative research environment focusing on women’s health. The IT Professional will primarily work on building and maintaining workflows for the analysis of large-scale genomic datasets, data management, and machine learning methods application. The ideal candidate will be proficient in, or highly motivated to learn, biological data science, machine learning, and high-throughput sequencing analysis. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, possess strong scientific communication skills, and show a clear commitment to reproducibility, replicability, and transparency in research. They should also have experience managing projects and provide examples of contributing to multiple research efforts involving diverse collaborators.
