The Research Senior Technician will conduct independent studies and assist with the design and implementation of funded laboratory projects. These studies will involve yeast genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, microscopy, and image processing and analysis. May coordinate, influence, or review the work of others which could include oversight of undergraduate students. Will perform statistical analyses and prepare final research reports and scientific manuscripts. The Research Senior Technician will perform administrative duties that include responding to requests for scientific materials and maintaining lab stock repositories. The Department of Molecular Genetics, within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks a Research Senior Technician to join our team.
