About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Research Scientist will be to conduct wet-lab research using in vitro and in vivo models of brain injury and neurodegeneration under the supervision of the lab head.

Requirements

Experience with mammalian cell culture, animal handling, tissue dissection, and basic molecular biology techniques such as RNA/DNA isolation, quantification, agarose gel electrophoresis, etc., is required.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a natural, physical or medical science.
The candidate is expected to be well-organized, work well in a group setting

Nice To Haves

Experience with human organoids is highly desirable.
A minimum of two years of wet-lab research experience in an academic setting (undergraduate biomedical wet lab research experience is acceptable).
Prior experience in neuroscience research, particularly in stroke or neurodegeneration is a plus.
