The Innovation and Development Division (IDD) drives the innovation strategy for the Hubs and Operations, and contributes to the Group's transformation. It is responsible for imagining, developing and incubating new solutions until they are brought to market, particularly when it comes to offers with a high technological content (including digital and IT). The Customer Process - Electronics group in Air Liquide’s Delaware Innovation Campus in Newark, Delaware is seeking a talented, collaborator, Ph.D researcher to join our multidisciplinary group supporting the development of new molecules for high-tech industrial applications. This team develops and tunes targeted molecules to suit customers application processes for use in electronics, automotive, aerospace and healthcare industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing the precursor molecules and deposition processes of Organometallic and inorganic compounds for application in the semiconductor, automotive, aerospace and healthcare processes. The processes will include the deposition of dielectric materials and/or metals by Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and Chemical Vapor deposition (CVD) techniques. Experience working with ALD tools and use of advanced metrology and characterization is highly desired.
