Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. Additional training in project management preferred.
  • Minimum two years of progressive project management experience.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities
  • Multicultural competency
  • Proficiency in project management and data tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, R, Stata)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Coordinate schedules and resources across research teams and partners.
  • Apply project management tools to ensure quality and timely outcomes.
  • Collaborate on RPPRs, study materials, and documentation.
  • Design and review survey instruments and consent forms.
  • Ensure compliance with IRB and data security standards.
  • Lead baseline survey implementation for Ghanaian immigrants in the U.S.
  • Train and supervise field teams; monitor performance and data quality.
  • Resolve technical and procedural challenges in real time.
  • Manage project budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Track expenditures and prepare financial reports.
  • Coordinate with finance offices on contracts and invoicing.
  • Maintain communication plans across institutions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to summarize progress.
  • Serve as liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Maintain issue logs and change control processes.
  • Prepare materials for publication and presentations.
  • Contribute to policy briefs and outreach content.
  • Establish workflows and communication standards.
  • Lead debriefs and process improvement initiatives.
  • Organize logistics for trainings and workshops.
  • Manage participant engagement and communications.
