This position is open at the Research Technician I or II level depending on the candidate’s prior experience. The selected individual will support interdisciplinary projects on neuroimmune mechanisms in Alzheimer’s disease, working under the supervision of Dr. Doo Yeon Kim in the Department of Neurology, MGH, and Harvard Medical School. Start date is immediate or as soon as possible, depending on candidate availability. Prior experience with cell culture, immunostaining, animal models or bioengineering techniques is preferred but not required. Job Summary Summary Responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, organizing and preparing samples, conducting experiments, and recording and analyzing data. Candidates who are in the process of completing their bachelor's degree have a grace period of six months from their hire date (up to 1 year if starting per diem) to provide degree equivalency verification.
