This position is responsible for assisting with applied and basic research in the field of arboriculture and adjacent sciences, such as entomology, plant pathology, and soils. Ideally, the individual will have some background in arboriculture, forestry, horticulture, plant science, Geographical Information Systems (a plus but not required), or a related field. The employee will be highly encouraged and supported to work on an independent project and publish or present findings to colleagues. The individual is expected to express a willingness to further develop their skills and work both independently and collaboratively. Position Location : The Bartlett Tree Research Laboratories & Arboretum, Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. Overnight travel to remote research locations may be necessary for some projects.
