MTSI is seeking Flight Test Engineer (FTE) candidates to lead various research projects for the USAF Test Pilot School (TPS) on one or more A-29 aircraft. Duty location is at Edwards AFB. The following specific duties are anticipated: Responsible for technical coordination of TPS-driven upgrades & modifications to the A-29 aircraft – either with onsite T-2 special instrumentation personnel or other support organizations/personnel. Responsible for the research focused operations engineering associated with the A-29 aircraft, which include: Coordinating research related missions and identifying potential research efforts that could utilize the A-29s, including TPS Test Management Projects (TMPs) and deconflicting with standard TPS A-29 curriculum sortie. Aircraft configuration control and scheduling Test Conductor/Director duties Responsible for test planning (Test plans and safety) ·Other duties in-line with MTSI’s core value to “Own and Solve our Customer’s Problems.”
