Requirements
- Doctoral degree (MD or PhD) with postdoc lab research experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Meet regularly with the mentor to review project status, and contribute novel scientific ideas for the progression of the research project.
- Read, analyze and summarize published literature to know current research work and gain intellectual and technical expertise in the field.
- Write and submit grant applications for continued research funding. Application for individual fellowships is strongly encouraged.
- Write and submit manuscripts to peer reviewed journals. Complete sponsor-mandated reports on research progress.
- Prepare presentations and exhibit research work in various national and international scientific meetings and conferences.
- Continue career development under the auspices of the mentor, including coursework
