About The Position

The Research Fellow will contribute to community‑based human subjects research aimed at improving outcomes for individuals with substance use disorders. Key responsibilities include implementing new studies, collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and ensuring adherence to ethical and regulatory requirements. The Research Fellow will work closely with established research teams, engage with participants and community partners, and produce high‑quality scholarly writing, including manuscripts, NIH progress report content, and new grant application materials. Strong academic writing skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

  • PhD required
  • Must have valid NC driver's license
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel from Winston-Salem to Charlotte
