About The Position

Biogen is one of the world’s leading biopharmaceutical companies, with a focus on developing therapies for serious conditions in neurology, immunology, and rare diseases. We are committed to research that uncovers the underlying biology of complex diseases. The High-throughput Experimentation for chemistry (HTE) platform within the Medicinal Chemistry group at Biogen is seeking a Research Fellow to conduct parallel microscale chemistry for reaction screening, optimization, and compound synthesis. The Research Fellow will design, develop, and apply novel synthetic methodologies to create automated high-throughput workflows for our reaction optimization and library synthesis capabilities. The Research Fellow role at Biogen is an 18-month position designed to provide a unique opportunity for scientists to gain exposure to drug discovery and development, high-throughput experimentation, laboratory automation, and train in an industry research setting. In this role, you will collaborate with internal drug discovery programs to deliver high-value targets through HTE.
