About The Position

The Research Data Assistant supports the Evidence-based Practice, Outcomes and Impact Center (EPIC) in administrative and research activities. This position ensures smooth and efficient day-to-day research operations by supporting meetings, coordinating different projects timeline, data collection and document preparation activities. Confers with principal investigator and other researchers and post-doctoral researchers in the center to develop plans for a variety of research projects related to systematic reviews, guidelines development and assessing health outcomes.

Requirements

  • 4 years’ related research, public health, or related scientific research work experience. Education may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Review academic journals and databases to gather related articles and study publications.
  • Works with librarians and post-doctoral researchers to identify supporting evidence in published literature that is related to the health issues being addressed.
  • Run data through AI, data collection.
  • Organize, clean, and maintain data for analysis.
  • Perform basic data analysis under the direction of a postdoctoral fellow.
  • Schedule meetings with research sponsors and focus groups.
  • Assist with coordinating travel, reimbursements, and participation in meetings.
  • Prepare research papers and draft reports under the direction of senior staff.
