About The Position

As a Research Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in managing the administrative backbone of clinical research while engaging directly with patients. This position combines meticulous data management with patient-facing responsibilities, making it ideal for detail-oriented professionals who value accuracy and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience in a patient-facing role (e.g., Patient Access, Scheduling, Medical Records).
  • Minimum 1 year of data collection experience.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with clinical research processes and patient pre-screening.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Healthcare or clinical research background.
  • Customer service excellence—empathetic and clear communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Present research projects to patients and obtain informed consent in compliance with study protocols.
  • Learn and master research protocols and parameters during the first 1–2 months of onboarding.
  • Manage data entry and administrative tasks related to ongoing research—track patient files, update systems, and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor key study metrics using tracking tools; create and maintain documents, tables, databases, spreadsheets, and files.
  • Compile information from multiple databases to prepare reports and updates for leadership teams.
  • Provide timely, high-quality updates to the Research Manager and ensure compliance with all study requirements.
