About The Position

The Research Chemist is responsible for meeting the analytical testing requirements to support research and development projects primarily focused on oligonucleotides.

Requirements

• BA/BS with 1+ yrs. of related experience.
• MS with 0+ yrs. of related experience.
• Understand laboratory SOPs.
• Operate KF, U/HPLC instruments.
• Knowledge of undergraduate general and organic chemistry.
• Analytical chemistry knowledge including application of fundamental analytical techniques for identification, purity, and assay.
• Basic Word and Excel.
• Perform algebraic and basic statistical calculations correctly.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing per method or protocol for development, qualification, verification, validation, and transfer of analytical methods.
• Analyze test samples, process data, and report results to support research and development primarily focused on oligonucleotides.
• Perform method development experiments.
• Perform GDP peer review.
• Contribute to technical documentation.
• Attend and contribute to analytical project meetings.
• Maintain laboratory compliance.
• Execute tasks to deliver project results on time.
• Contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
