About The Position

Seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Research Associate within the Laboratory Animal Sciences/Applied Sciences group. Under limited supervision, performs a variety of routine and non-routine research tasks, following established techniques and procedures. Will work extensively with computer-based programs. Will assist in study preparation (protocols), data collection and evaluation (data management), and reporting (data management and report writing). Conducts technical aspects of the position in accordance with applicable guiding documents that include but are not limited to SOPs, protocols, and regulations and assists in refining these procedures as well as implementing new procedures and perform all other related duties and tasks as required or assigned.

Requirements

• Requires a Master's degree in a related scientific discipline and a minimum of 2 years demonstrated research experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained.
• Ability to gain and maintain access to Kirtland Air Force base (KAFB) is required.
