About The Position

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering ranks among the best in the country. Our research programs are at the forefront of the technologies that have changed the world we live in. We are currently searching for a Research Associate to join the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at CMU. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by assisting with the design of experiments and research protocols, and such other tasks as assigned to you. Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong research background
  • Analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Successful background check

Responsibilities

  • Performing research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures.
  • Researching and documenting information by compiling and maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Summarizing statistical information for analysis, examination, or presentation.
  • Identifying problems and obstacles to progress; developing strategies to solve problems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
