Fermilab’s Neutrino Division has a strong and exciting research program with major commitments to a diverse range of current and future neutrino experiments including DUNE, NOvA, MicroBooNE, and SBN (SBND and ICARUS detectors). Additional information on the Fermilab neutrino program can be found here: https://neutrinophysics.fnal.gov/. Neutrino Division seeks highly qualified and motivated candidates for Postdoctoral Research Associate positions to conduct their primary research in experimental neutrino physics, including simulation, data reconstruction and analysis, machine learning and AI applications, detector construction and operation, and R&D with test stands and test-beam experiments. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to play an important role in the next-generation long-baseline neutrino experiment, DUNE, as well as the current experimental program including NOvA, the Short Baseline Neutrino Program, and liquid argon TPC R&D. They will each be supervised by a Neutrino Division scientist and supported by a mentor team. Every effort is made to support and guide Fermilab Research Associates so that they have the opportunity to pursue their research interests and produce physics results. The position is for a period of up to three (3) years, with the potential for extension considered on a yearly basis thereafter.
