The TD2 Research Associate - In Vitro Pharmacology is involved in many aspects of laboratory operations primarily tissue culture activities, various cell-based assays, and molecular biology experiments. This position requires great attention to detail while working in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years direct in vitro pharmacology experience.
  • Experience in tissue culture techniques and other in vitro cell based assay.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications.
  • Periodic weekend/holiday shifts.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for tissue culture activities, including but not limited to thawing cell lines, passaging and general cell culture tasks.
  • Works closely with lab management for daily activity planning.
  • Execute in vitro pharmacology studies as assigned.
  • Maintains detailed laboratory files and documents.
  • Adheres to study protocols.
  • As appropriate, will assists laboratory management in training less experienced staff.
  • Ensures accurate collection and assessment of data.
  • Participates in daily or weekly lab meetings by updating the team on progress of active tasks, results, and preparation for future studies.
  • Performs routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of in vitro lab equipment, including but not limited to biosafety cabinets, incubators, centrifuges, and pipettes, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards as directed.
  • Performs general laboratory duties.
  • Assists in other laboratory duties as assigned.
