Part Time - Biofuels - Research Assistant
About The Position
The Central Pennsylvania Research and Teaching Laboratory for Biofuels (CPRTLB) is looking to hire part-time research assistants to assist with metabolic engineering of industrial hemp. Responsibilities
- Preparation of tissue culture media, growth hormones and culture of explants under sterile conditions
- Assist with DNA, RNA and Protein isolation
- Routine upkeep of the laboratory and Greehouse
- Collect, analyze data and involve in publishing papers as co- authors
- Assist with working on cancer cell lines and engineering cannabinoid pathway genes in E.Coli
- Assist PI and Director of the laboratory with other duties as assigned
