Part Time - Biofuels - Research Assistant (S STEM)
About The Position
The Central Pennsylvania Research and Teaching Laboratory for Biofuels (CPRTLB) is looking to hire part-time research assistants to assist with metabolic engineering of industrial hemp. Job Duties Preparation of tissue culture media, growth hormones and culture of explants under sterile conditions. Assist with DNA, RNA and Protein isolation. Routine upkeep of the laboratory and Greehouse. Collect, analyze data and involve in publishing papers as co- authors. Assist with working on cancer cell lines and engineering cannabinoid pathway genes in E.Coli. Assist PI and Director of the laboratory with other duties as assigned.
