Position Summary Research Assistant provides administrative support services for clinical research principal investigators and other members of the research team. Primary responsibilities include screening potential study patients, collecting consent forms, and enrolling patients for the assigned research project. Throughout the clinical trials, the Research Assistant collects and enters data from research participants, contacts families to follow-up on outstanding items, developing and/or maintaining study documentation. As a primary contact for all families within the communities we serve, the ability to create and maintain effective relationships with patients, parents, and legal guardians, is a must. This individual will receive daily direction from the assigned member of the Clinical Research leadership team.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent knowledge/experience, required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); including database and mainframe software and research measurement tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data entry for large, detailed projects in an analytical setting.
  • Ability to participate in research subject identification, recruitment, and enrollment under supervision.
  • Active problem solving, flexibility, and self-motivation.
