About The Position

The purpose of this position is to assist with research studies in the Neuromuscular Function Lab. The position will assist with testing, data analysis, and lab organization. The position will also work to prepare figures for manuscripts, and to help develop and test hypotheses based on previous and current studies as needed. The position reports to the lab director.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with clinical research data management

  • Experience with research based in aging of the neuromuscular system.
  • Experience with mentoring and communicating

Responsibilities

  • Assist with laboratory testing and execution of research protocols.
  • Perform data entry, analysis, and preparation of research figures.
  • Maintain general lab organization, cleanliness, and supply inventory.
  • Support development and testing of research hypotheses under the lab director’s guidance.
