JOB PURPOSE: Provide technical and logistical support to multiple research programs at the Sheridan Research and Extension Center and the Institute for Managing Annual Grasses Invading Natural Ecosystems. JFNTMP ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with field, greenhouse, and laboratory data collection across a wide range of research and outreach projects not limited to rangeland restoration, invasive weed management, wildlife habitat improvement, and forage agronomy. Additional, but minor, duties consist of day-to-day maintenance of research farm grounds and fields.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and follow detailed instructions
  • Willingness to learn and apply what has been learned
  • Comfortable working in outdoor environments
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP
