The Computer Science Department (CSD) is one of the seven academic departments in the Carnegie Mellon School of Computer Science (SCS). We are seeking a Research Assistant to work with research projects pertaining on reinforcement learning algorithms for robot learning. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in developing algorithms
  • Experience in academic research and project work
  • A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
  • Successful background investigation

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, record and assess data.
  • Write and test learning algorithms for robot learning.
  • Assesses data and analyzes results.
  • Writing detailed reports and records
  • Work on research projects related
  • Other duties as assigned.
