Reconstructing pedigrees from genetic data and analyzing large genetic datasets to find identity-by-descent (IBD) segments that descend from a common ancestor of four or more individuals: Work under the guidance of Dr. Amy Williams and the HAPI-DNA lab Collaborate with faculty, students, and other researchers Communicate progress, challenges, and findings clearly Meet research milestones and deadlines This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computational biology, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • Strong quantitative and programming experience, as well as the ability to process large-scale datasets, are essential skills.
