About The Position
Collects, develops, analyzes and communicates economic development data and other information to internal and external constituents of the Center for Economic Development (CED). Collects and analyzes data, creates visual presentation, and prepares reports on economic development studies. Utilizes and modifies financial information and databases to support CED research activities and operations. Supervises assigned student personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, economic development, business administration, environmental studies, urban studies or related fields.
- Two years experience in data analysis.
- Experience with relational databases and statistical research, data retrieval, and query.
Nice To Haves
- Proficient in economic analysis.
- Previous data analysis experience in economic development research in a university setting.
- Working knowledge of IMPLAN data and other statistical modeling.
- Experience with PeopleSoft, grant administration, accounting software, and analysis of public finance.
- Working knowledge of economic development research methods, theories, and analyses.
