Research Assistant
About The Position
The Research Assistant will provide assistance with digitizing, coding, use of OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software, error checking and correction of digitized data, and updating the R-ArcticNET database and website. The University of New Hampshire is an R1 Carnegie classification research institution providing comprehensive, high-quality undergraduate and graduate programs of distinction. Requirements
- Associate degree
- Experience in programming, managing large data sets and developing websites
- Knowledge of OCR software
Responsibilities
- Coding and convertation of river discharge data in appropriate formats for R-ArcticNET
- Apply OCR software, AI and coding to convert data to digital R-ArcticNET format
- Upgrade of R-ArcticNET website
