About The Position
Summary: The Department of Politics, Governance, and Economics is seeking a Research Assistant to support Professor Poole with a project on the impacts of cross-border investment and technology adoption. The student is expected to perform extensive economic literature searches and summary reviews and to provide support on data analysis and descriptive statistics.
Requirements
- Current undergraduate student with a solid understanding of International Economics.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence and other digital technologies i.e. Stata statistical software is preferred.
- Ability to understand the Korean language is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform economic literature searches.
- Perform summary reviews.
- Provide support on data analysis and descriptive statistics.
- Other duties assigned.
