About The Position

The Research Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to collaborating with the professor on ongoing research projects, conducting literature reviews, and assisting in data collection and analysis. The Research Assistant will also contribute to the preparation of research publications and presentations.

Requirements

• Good academic standing with a strong GPA.
• Excellent and professional verbal, written, and presentation skills, as well as organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to seek out, coordinate, and appropriately disseminate information.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• Courses in econometrics and/or statistics are preferred.
• Familiarity with statistics software, such as MATLAB or STATA.
• Familiarity with research methodologies, data analysis, and literature review.
• Previous research experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and coordinating academic events, seminars, or workshops.
• Maintain effective communication with the faculty.
• Other duties assigned on a rolling basis.
