The University of Arkansas School of Law announces a non-tenure-track contract faculty position to support and enhance the law school’s LL.M. Program in Agricultural and Food Law as an Assistant Director and Research Assistant Professor. The AD will be expected to assist the Director of the LL.M. Program with all aspects of program needs, including recruiting, admissions, mentoring, career planning, and alumni relations. The AD will also teach agricultural and food law classes, advise the Journal of Food Law & Policy, and pursue agricultural and food law related grant opportunities. The AD will administer funded projects in compliance with professional and ethical standards while providing guidance to students who assist with the projects. The AD will work with the Program Director, the Program Manager, the LL.M faculty and the Graduate Legal Studies Committee to help chart the future direction of the LL.M. Program and related agricultural and food law work at the Law School. The position will be 30% program administration, 30% teaching, 30% research (including grant seeking and management), and 10% service. The AD will report directly to the Director of the LL.M. Program.
