Research Assistant- POSTGRADUATE WAYNE LAW ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT OFFICE FELLOW
About The Position
Wayne State University Law School’s Enrollment Management Office ("Wayne Law") is seeking applications from Class of 2025 graduates of an ABA Counsel-accredited law school for a one calendar year Post-Graduate Research Assistant Fellowship. The fellowship offers an opportunity for a recent law school graduate to gain experience working with the Enrollment Management office. The fellow will work closely with Enrollment Management staff and will report directly to the Director of Undergraduate and Graduate Legal Programs. The fellow will conduct research and use data driven analytics to recommend and assist with the development of innovative opportunities for increasing Wayne Law’s market share specific to undergraduate and graduate programs. The fellow may also assist with marketing and recruitment, enrollment management, and special events and activities.
Requirements
- J.D. from a Counsel-accredited law school is required.
- Bar passage is not required.
- The applicant must be a Class of 2025 graduate from a Counsel-accredited law school and have interest in higher education.
- Candidates must be able to engage in research and writing at a high level
- Exercise independent judgment
- Responsibly manage multiple projects
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Complete assignments with minimal supervision.
- Applicants are required to submit (1) a letter of interest describing the candidate’s interest in the fellowship position, (2) a resume, (3) a law school transcript, and (4) the names and contact information of three individuals prepared to provide professional references.
- Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.
