Requirements

  • Basic laboratory experience preferred.
  • Results-oriented, precise, analytical, and innovative; demonstrates intellectual curiosity and initiative.
  • Basic laboratory skills, including:
  • Recording test parameters, observations, and data accurately.
  • Summarizing data, observations, and conclusions clearly.
  • Collaborating with project teams to evaluate process effectiveness.
  • Conducting processing and formulation tests using bench protocols.
  • Supporting pilot plant activities to scale up recipes and processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Adheres to Good Laboratory Practices.
  • Currentl pursuing BSc or MSc in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Life science, Biology, or Biochemistry
  • Able to work in Bridgewater, NJ starting May 26th, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Execute laboratory experiments to assess new technologies and new ingredients to deliver on project goals. Optimize process conditions.
  • Assist in formulation and processing design of technical projects
  • Test variants to optimize bench testing methods.
  • Conduct stability and functionality evaluation.
  • Summarize main findings and present results to team members
