About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented research assistant to support ongoing projects within the field of environmental data analytics. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between complex data processing and scientific communication, assisting in the development of data-driven insights and scholarly publications

Requirements

• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Python or R for data manipulation (e.g., Pandas, Tidyverse) and SQL for database querying.
• Academic Background: Currently enrolled in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Analytical Rigor: Experience or interest in conducting meta-analyses and interpreting complex statistical outputs.
• Communication: Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to draft clear, concise scientific reports.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection & Management: Identify, scrape, and organize large datasets from diverse environmental sources.
• Advanced Analytics: Perform statistical modeling and data visualization using Python, R, and SQL.
• Meta-Analysis: Synthesize findings across existing literature and datasets to identify trends and research gaps.
• Scientific Writing: Assist in drafting technical reports, literature reviews, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
• Administrative Support: Help maintain research documentation and ensure data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
