About The Position

-Preparation and submission of research ethics applications -Systematic searches and syntheses of the scientific literature -Recruitment of research participants -Scheduling of research study visits -Conducting informed consent and screening processes for ongoing lab studies -Data entry as per study protocols -Data collection and analysis for ongoing lab studies -Participation in scheduled meetings with supervisor and/or research team -Assistance with the preparation and submission of grant proposals and scientific manuscripts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Physiology, or other related area with background in exercise physiology, musculoskeletal health, and/or sports science
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a research lab
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a research team
• Effective organizational skills and attentiveness to detail
• Ability to exercise tact, discretion, and confidentiality
• Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written)
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located
