Research Analyst TV & RD Los Angeles, CA | Full Time COMPENSATION RANGE: 65,000.00 - 75,000.00 Summary The Opportunity: Beyond the Spreadsheet At Entravision, we know that data is only as powerful as the story it tells. We are looking for a Research Analyst who looks past the rows and columns to find the "Why" behind the "What." Your job is to be a media detective. You won’t just be "crunching numbers"; you will be translating complex audience metrics into compelling narratives that prove why Entravision is the essential partner for local and national advertisers. Essential Functions Narrative Creation: Transform raw data from Nielsen, Scarborough, and MRI-Simmons and other platforms into persuasive sales stories and marketing collateral that highlight our stations' performance. Strategic Support: Act as a strategic partner to the sales team, providing the insights needed to overcome objections and justify premium rates based on our unique audience reach. Market Insight: Develop category-specific "success stories" (e.g., Automotive, Retail, CPG) using all internal and external tools to show clients exactly how our viewers move the needle for their business. Performance Monitoring: Keep a pulse programming, providing updates that help corporate and local management understand our audiences’ impact in the market. What You Bring to the Table The Detective Mindset: You are naturally curious. You don't just report that ratings changed; you investigate why they changed and what that means for our future strategy. Technical Artistry: You have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (Certification preferred). You don’t just build charts; you build visual arguments. Agility: You thrive in a high-octane, fast-paced media environment where priorities shift and deadlines are immediate. Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with media research tools: Nielsen Ratings, Scarborough, MRI-Simmons, R.L. Polk, and Claritas-Geoscape.
  • Familiarity with digital sales platforms and cross-platform measurement.
  • Strong understanding of NLTV and related software.
  • The Detective Mindset: You are naturally curious. You don't just report that ratings changed; you investigate why they changed and what that means for our future strategy.
  • Technical Artistry: You have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (Certification preferred). You don’t just build charts; you build visual arguments.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a local broadcast television or radio station.
  • Familiarity with comScore Local Market data.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a major plus, but not required.
  • Proficiency in the Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail, Slides, Sheets).
