Research Analyst I - Immunoassay
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Research Analyst I, Immunoassay for our Discovery site located in Worcester, MA. The ideal candidate should have at least one year experience with common immunostaining protocols and flow cytometry method development. This position will be involved in multiple aspects of immunoanalysis in multiple matrices, with a focus on large molecules, collaborating between our bioanalytical and in vivo oncology groups. The position is hands-on, and the work is performed in close cooperation with and under the guidance of more senior staff members in a fast-paced environment where a commitment to teamwork, quality data and speed is essential. This position also has the option to cross-train on immunoassay formats using conventional ELISA, MSD, and/or GyroLab platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S./B.A) or equivalent in a scientific related discipline.
- No minimum related laboratory experience required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving capabilities.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements of study types assigned, as well as Testing Facility SOPs and the Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), as appropriate.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines under minimal direction.
- Proficiency in the use of standard software including Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc. and with standard laboratory calculations.
- Proficiency in the use of analytical instrumentation software.
