About The Position

The Research Analyst/Evaluator II (Lead) conducts comprehensive analyses of complex requirements to examine and evaluate facts, principles, and regulatory considerations for internal organizational use. This role prepares detailed investigative reports and leads analytical efforts across research teams to support well-founded decision-making. The position evaluates multifaceted economic, regulatory, and production factors and provides structured conclusions and recommendations. Requirements

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in an analytical and/or research environment.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing complex regulatory, economic, or production-related issues.
  • Experience leading analytical efforts or coordinating research teams.
  • Strong analytical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to synthesize multiple variables into defensible conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and guide team-based analytical efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analytical evaluations of complex requirements.
  • Prepare investigative reports based on examination of public records and other relevant information sources.
  • Evaluate factors such as domestic production status, substitution feasibility, qualification requirements, inventory levels, and market availability.
  • Assess whether requested products are under development by U.S. producers and evaluate production viability timelines.
  • Analyze additional economic, regulatory, or operational considerations affecting determinations.
  • Lead teams of analysts in conducting research and preparing findings.
  • Provide guidance to team members on analytical methodologies and documentation standards.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within structured analytical environments.
  • Present findings and recommendations to project leadership.
  • Report to a Project Manager.
