About The Position
This summer, the intern will support the Advanced Energy Technologies (AET) directorate through a cross-functional experience designed to build business acumen across multiple operational areas. Working with teams in communications, safety, finance, operations, IT, and proposal development, the intern will gain exposure to how a national laboratory integrates research with business processes to deliver impact. This experience is intended to provide a well-rounded understanding of how business functions enable and support scientific research and program execution.
Requirements
- Must be an undergraduate student
- Must be a sophomore (or equivalent standing for an undergraduate student employee)
- Ability to pass a background check that includes an assessment of criminal conviction history
- Ability to obtain and maintain government access authorization
