About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Accountant/CPA in our very fast-paced engineering/manufacturing organization in the energy sector. Working under the direction of the CFO, the Sr. Accountant/CPA is an independent, proactive professional, with a focus on managing and overseeing key accounting functions within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting and ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and cost structures and must be able to manage multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities and deliverables, adapt to new challenges and operate effectively in a fast-paced work environment. In this role, the Sr. Accountant/CPA supports accurate and timely financial reporting, including consolidations, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. This role manages cost accounting, fixed assets, and inventory control within the ERP/MRP systems and provides detailed financial analysis and management reporting. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
  • at least five years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
  • capable of managing multiple priorities
  • collaborating effectively across teams
  • interacting confidently with upper management
